Synthetic Turf

synthetic turf

What is Synthetic Turf?

The latest generation of synthetic turf is a grass-like ground cover that replicates lush natural grass in appearance and function. As a landscape cover, synthetic turf provides a low maintenance, weed-free surface that does not need to be watered or fertilized, and is available in styles that look like grass types that are prevalent locally.

How many choices do you offer?

We are a Synthetic Turf International dealer. Please visit this website for more information: https://synthetic-turf.com/nebraska/

Is it dog friendly?

Most synthetic turf is made using non-toxic chemicals and materials. One thing to consider for your pet is if the synthetic turf drains well and does not absorb odors. Chances are, your dog is using the yard to do their business, so you want a synthetic turf that drains well and is easy to clean. (We have installed several dog areas, so this is something Diamond Cut Lawns Inc can take care of.)

How much does it cost?

Synthetic turf is a long-term investment that comes with an upfront cost approximately - $10 - $15 per square foot, installed. Once it is installed it is a minimal cost for the next 15 to 20 years. Although this initial cost is high, the continuous ongoing cost is a minimal - annual cost reduction: watering, fertilizing, gardener/lawn maintenance.

What kind of maintenance does it require?

While much less time and money are required to maintain a synthetic turf yard versus a natural grass yard, synthetic turf needs to be maintained to maximize the life of the product.

Who does the installation?

Our trained professional staff.

Are there any special maintenance requirements?

There are four good practices to always keeping your synthetic turf grass clean: keep your lawn trash free, brush regularly depending on usage, rinse often and call Diamond Cut Lawns whenever you have questions.

Does the product or installation have any sort of guarantee on it?

Depending on the product you buy. Our products come with 5 year, 8 year and lifetime warranties. Be sure to consult with Matt about the options available.

Aerating your lawn also controls thatch build up, relieves compact soil, and stimulates root development, creating a healthier lawn. Aerating is one of the best things you can do for your lawn annually and provides the perfect environment for overseeding.

We recommend you do aeration in the spring and fall, if you only want it done once a year then we would recommend aerating in the fall.
