Matt Novak
Matt is the founding Owner of Diamond Cut Lawns, Inc. Starting out with just mowing lawns while he was in college at UNO with his very own office in his parent's basement. From Matt himself "I wanted to mow everyone's lawn in Omaha and the surrounding areas". After he built his business up and was achieving this goal, he then gained a passion for getting his hands dirty and creating beautiful landscapes. He decided to add this service to be able to fulfill more clients requests. Hearing about customers enjoyment of their outdoor spaces that our team has created is what keeps him in the industry. Growing from a one-man operation into a multi: size, service, and division company where he continues to put customers first.
Melissa
Melissa started with Diamond Cut Lawns in 2024, she comes to us with many years of office management experience. She is a multitasker who can handle getting a lot thrown at her at one time. She is often the one that will get you the information you need and is involved in almost all aspects of what we do daily. Melissa loves spending time outdoors and with her family.
Meet Our Leaders
Josh
- Team Leader on Mow Crew -
Josh has been with Diamond Cut Lawns since 2007. As a Team Lead his focus is on keeping the team efficient and all mowing services are completed to ensure a quality job. It is not uncommon for Josh to be showing the guys what to do, mowing along side them, or repairing equipment to keep them going.
Bert
- Team Leader on Mow Crew -
Bert has been with Diamond Cut Lawns since 2007. As a Team Lead his focus is on completing paperwork and assisting the team with making sure they are staying on schedule for each day and throughout week. Bert's responsibilities include assisting the team with mowing duties, maintaining proper equipment, and following up after the services are complete to ensure a quality job was done.
Jared
- Team Leader on Landscape/Turf Crew -
Jared started with Diamond Cut Lawns in 2024. As a Lead Landscaper he is responsible for creating spaces where our clients can relax or entertain friends outdoors. Jared is responsible for crew and job site management. Most days you will see Jared getting his hands dirty while working with his crew to ensure timely completion of the projects.
Ronnie
- Team Head of Marketing -
Ronnie started with Diamond Cut Lawns in 2022 as the office manager. She will still work on marketing and newsletters even though she made the decision to go into semi-retirement in 2024 in order to spend more time with her grandchildren.
